Comp Precision Tooling Inc. was founded by Brian Comp Sr. in 1998. Located in Blairsville, Pennsylvania, it is still owned and operated by Brian. The facility is less than an hour’s drive from Pittsburgh.

The company was started with a focus on precision carbide parts, but things have expanded tremendously since then. The current facility is over twice the size of the original and houses multiple new and updated machines. Now many kinds of material are turned into precision parts. Other than carbide these include numerous grades of steel, powdered metals, and non-ferrous materials.

Brian has over 27 years of experience as a machinist and toolmaker. He earned journeyman status over twenty years ago in 1989. His skill, work ethic, completion times, and ability to work with new materials and hold tight tolerances have made Comp Precision Tooling a vital part of each customer’s business for the past 14 years.
